Developer's Log

  • June 19, 2008 - BackTrack 3.0 Final released
We finally released BackTrack 3.0 !!! For this release we have 3 versions: CD, USB (extended tool-set) and a VMware image.
We have slaved for weeks and months, together with the help of many remote-exploit'ers to bring you this fine release. As usual, this version overshadows the previous ones with extra cool things. It's recommended to use the official Remote-Exploit.org site for downloading, as unauthorized mirrors and torrents are being discouraged. Get your .ISO here.

Notice to Wiki Editors

Recent spambot activity has caused us to require login before updates and edits can be made. Members in the Editor usergroup can log in as themselves with edit rights, other humans can log in as user=backtrack password=remoteexploit. All visitors can read the wiki, edits require login. This move, though perhaps inconvenient, will assist us with spambot control. -ziplock
